Review: Lucky VoxBox

I received this box of absolutely FREE products from Influenster. Influenster is a great platform that connects consumers with brands to test and review products. It takes in account your followers on social media, but if you don’t have many followers don’t feel discouraged. I know people without many followers still getting sent these boxes. This is my third and I signed up back in July. Head below to see what I got!

 

 

First I tried the SweetTarts Chew Sour. They were really sour and I love sour candy. I finished them in one sitting and didn’t share. I usually don’t like getting edible products because they are hard to review for me, but I did enjoy getting some sweets. 5/5

 

 

 

Next up are the U by Kotex feminine product packs. There were pads, tampons, and liners. I love getting free feminine products because they will save you when you’re running low at home.

The pads had a different shape than normal pads but they were comfortable. The tampons were small and sleek. Everything in the pack did the job! 5/5

 

 

The Alba Botanica Acne Dote Face and Body Scrub was my second least favorite thing in the box. I’m not keen on using/trying new face washes.

I tried it and didn’t like it. It made me breakout and it was too gritty for an everyday wash. The smell was okay. I give it a 2/5.

 

 

 

Last, but not least are the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10 in 1 Primer and Hair Towelette. Before going into my review I would just like to say I love Eva NYC! Ipsy introduced me to their products and I fell in love. As you can see in the photo I’ve bought a lot of their products.

That being said, the Hair Towelettes fell short for me and were my least favorite thing in the box. I didn’t see the purpose of them nor did it work for me. It made my hair greasy and feel dirty. The only good thing about it was the smell. 2/5

My favorite item from the box was the Magic Mane Primer. I have used it in the past; I got it in my ipsy bag a few months ago. It untangled my hair and controlled my frizz. It also helped me untangle my synthetic wigs a little bit. 4/5
