Fall and winter is when I tap into the darker side of my closet and dark florals are my weakness for this season.

Florals are inherently confined to the spring and summer season because they usually come in pastels and light colors. If you come across darker shades of floral they make perfect fall pieces. I found this dress on a thrifting day in the city, but it’s from a store named 24/7 Comfort and let me tell you it’s a comfortable material. I’ve never worn this dress during the spring or summer months because of its dark color and long sleeves. It is also a slightly thicker material than normal maxi dresses making it perfect for the fall days.

If you have followed me for awhile now you know no matter the season you can catch me wearing maxi dresses and maxi skirts. You just need to learn to layer! On this particular day it wasn’t that cold so I only wore thick tights under the dress. My favorite are the Kate Spade tights because they are both thick and soft. For colder days I wear both leggings and tights under maxis.

Makeup:

I went for simple with this look. I used ‘Willkommen’ from theBalm Voyage Vol. II Palette ($35) on my crease. On my lid I used my Pixi Apricot Glow Duo I got in one of my past ipsy bags.

I added some brown eyeliner, I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in ‘Bourbon’ ($20), but you can use whichever brown eyeliner your own. I topped the look off with the Clinque High Impact Mascara ($18), which has been my new go to mascara!
