Fashion: Dad Hats and Band Tees

I wanted a more casual low-key outfit post for the week. I posted my swatch video earlier this week.

When I’m lazy and don’t want to make an outfit, I just throw on one of my array of band t-shirts or “nerdy” t-shirts (almost all of them are from TeeTurtle or bought at cons). I tuck the shirt into high-waisted pants so I don’t look boxy and still show off the very little bit of curves I have. I top off the look with slip-on shoes because who really wants to tie shoes? The shirt I’m wearing is from one of my favorite bands, Modern Baseball. I got it last summer at their concert at Irving Plaza.

In this outfit I added a dad hat, which I had bought for my boyfriend but I took a liking to it. I got it in Soho from a street vendor for $5.

For makeup I usually just put on the Laura Mercier Tinter Moisturizer in ‘Bisque’ ($44) and the It Cosmetic Bye Bye Undereye Concealer in ‘Medium’ ($24). Then I do my eyebrows using the Benefit Gimme Brow Fiber Gel in ’03 Medium Brown’ ($24) and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in ‘Dark Brown’ ($23).
