Nice weather has finally arrived here in New York. But, as New York is infamously known for the fact that one day it’s hot, the next its freezing, and yet the day after that it’s in between. So to my dismay I never know what to wear during those awkward days. The outfit above was created on one of those awkward days due to the question of whether or not to have a million layers. I settled on an outfit that allowed me to easily shed layers if necessary. Head Below for more details on this outfit.

The day was windy and kind of chilly, but beautiful and sunny. I didn’t want to wear too many layers to the point that I’m sweating, nor did I want to go out in just a dress with boots and be cold. Also, it’s important to note I get cold really easily. I decided on a dress, leggings, a leather jacket, and accessorized with a statement necklace and a big sun hat. I was going for boho with some edge.
The A-line dress is from Brandy Melville; this is one of my favorite dresses in my closet, it’s so versatile and flowy. You can wear it with leggings and a leather jacket when its nippy out like I did here. You could also wear it alone with a statement necklace and still look trendy.
The leggings are from Garage and they are amazing. These are the only leggings I have ever found that aren’t see-through, and you know that’s a huge issue. If you have found other leggings that aren’t see-through comment the brand down below so I can check them out.

If you want to recreate this look here is where I got each article of clothing:
Dress: Brandy Melville – $28 (They don’t have it in white anymore just black and burgundy)
Leggings: Garage Clothing – $19.95
Sun Hat: Forever 21 – $17.90 (similar to the one I’m wearing)
Statement Necklace: Forever 21 – $8.90 – $10.90
Boots: Steve Madden – $69.95
