I’ve worked both in an office where I wore heels everyday and an office where I can wear jeans and a sweatshirts everyday. Office fashion always depends on what industry and company you are in. I put together an outfit that can be easily made casual depending on your company’s culture and if you’re a recent college graduate with an entry level position and thousands of dollars in debt this outfit won’t break the bank.
When I think fall I think warm colors, trees, and overalls. My two favorite seasons, which I have probably mentioned a thousand times on this blog, are Spring and Fall because it’s that in-between weather.

Summer isn’t over officially until September 22nd, but the fall weather is creeping up here in New York. I’m starting to plan out when to wear the summer dresses I haven’t had the chance to wear yet before it gets too chilly (once it hits 70 degrees I need to start wearing pants, I get cold easily).

Statement earrings are all the rage this past Spring/Summer season. From tassels to fringe I keep seeing them pop up in fashion magazines and fashion blogs. They’re a great way to add a little extra flair to any outfit.

With this New York cold it’s hard to look cute and warm at the same time, BUT there’s this little thing I love called layering. Layering is my best friend during these frigid months. Especially when I want to wear my Spring/Summer favorites.

Fall and winter is when I tap into the darker side of my closet and dark florals are my weakness for this season.

Deep V blouses, high-waisted pants, and fun warm tones remind of the 70s.
A while back I posted about a look featuring local clothing brand, Bronx Native. Since then they have been featured on local news, blogs, and even made it in The New York Times; both owners are in their early 20s and have accomplished so much.
I have been MIA the past couple weeks because I was planning my wonderful sister’s baby shower and getting ready for New York Comic Con. BUT I’M BACK and just in time for the first days of fall.
