Summer isn’t over officially until September 22nd, but the fall weather is creeping up here in New York. I’m starting to plan out when to wear the summer dresses I haven’t had the chance to wear yet before it gets too chilly (once it hits 70 degrees I need to start wearing pants, I get cold easily).

This summer’s biggest trend was linen dresses! I absolutely love the texture, breathability, and eco-friendliness of the fabric. The only downside, like most natural fabrics, is that it gets wrinkled easily. So be careful how you sit and move while wearing them, especially if you’re anything like me and love being nicely pressed and wrinkle free.
This dress is from Free People ($88), currently on sale for $29 in a different color. The dress is cut a little strangely so I wore a nude camisole from Forever 21 ($2.90) to make it work appropriate.
Though summer fashion is coming to an end I’m so excited for fall fashion! My favorites include sweaters, plaid, and earth tones! What are some of yours?
