With this New York cold it’s hard to look cute and warm at the same time, BUT there’s this little thing I love called layering. Layering is my best friend during these frigid months. Especially when I want to wear my Spring/Summer favorites.

You may recognize these wide leg striped pants from a past blog post, which I posted during the summer. On their own they are far from winter friendly since they are a thin material. To protect my legs from freezing I wore a my Garage leggings and nude colored tights all under the stripped pants. I also wore no show socks with my heels.
I mixed this summer clothing piece with a winter a piece, a cropped and unique sweater I found at Nordstrom by J.O.A. ($70). I accessorized with one of my favorite oxford heels. I chose to wear my glasses for this look. Yes, I wear glasses these aren’t fake.
Makeup:
I decided to go with a bold lip and a simple eye look. On my lips I wore the ‘Base’ color from the Kat Von D Shade + Light Sage Quad ($15). I also used a light brown on my crease, but don’t remember what shade. I finished the eye look with a simple wing using the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in ‘Trooper’ ($20) and with some mascara currently using the Too Faced Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara ($23).
On my lips I wore Mellow Liquid Lip Paint in ‘Paris’ ($14).
