I have been MIA the past couple weeks because I was planning my wonderful sister’s baby shower and getting ready for New York Comic Con. BUT I’M BACK and just in time for the first days of fall.

It’s been a week into fall and it still feels like summer, but that didn’t stop me from wearing my favorite flannel! It’s a men’s XL Ralph Lauren flannel and I bought it from a thrift shop for $5. My favorite places to get flannels are thrift shops, grandparents and my boyfriend; even though he often steals this one.
I love pairing my flannels with high waisted jeans, like these Brandy Melville ones. Brandy has pretty affordable denim jeans that give off a thrifted look, which has been in style for teens and young adults in their 20s for the last couple of seasons. Other places to find pants like these are Levi’s and Popular Brooklyn Thrift Shops.
To add a more feminine touch I added heels to the equation; something that only really works for the first month maybe two of fall. These were on sale at DSW and have been my favorite to pair with pants. You might be seeing them in future looks. Every person needs those staple shoes in their wardrobe.
Makeup:
Since I also had to take pictures for Influenster with the Make Up Forever Ultra HD foundation they sent me; retails for $43. I chose to go with a very natural look. Check out my review on Instagram!
I’m wearing the foundation in Y325 without any concealer. For my brows I used my two holy grails the Benefit Gimme Brow in ‘3’ ($24) and the ABH Brow Definer in ‘Dark Brown’ ($23). Lastly, the only other makeup I’m wearing is the Better Than Sex Mascara ($12), after this application it was too dry for another look RIP. (Quick Tip: Always get travel size mascaras they always dry out before you use all of the product)
