This outfit would be perfect for a vacation on the beach in Puerto Rico or a weekend in the Hamptons. I wore this to neither.
Wide legged culottes are the perfect pants for summer because most of them are light weight and airy.
Tip: If you are shorter in height or have a long torso with short legs make sure the culottes are high waisted and pair them with heels to create an illusion of longer legs.
I fell in love with these pants when I saw them online, but they sold out (I hate paying for shipping and Forever 21 was having any free shipping sales). After work one day I decided to check out the Forever 21 store near my job.
Makeup:
For this eye look I took the colors of my pants as inspiration.
As a base I used ‘Nectar’ from the Smashbox Screen Shot Photo Op Trio ($28).
On my crease I used ‘Morocco’ from the Juvia’s Place The Nubian 2 Palette ($19.99). On my lid I used ‘Egypt’ and ‘Zuri’ also from the Nubian 2 palette. I took ‘Zuri’ and added it to my inner corner, eyebrow bone, and used it as a highlight.
On my lips I used Tarte’s Lip Paint in ‘Rosé’ ($20).
