Finally I lived up to my social media name, Okarina of Time. The Legend of Zelda games have always been my favorite video games growing up. My friend Ben left all his Gameboy games behind his Freshman year when he went back Hawaii. Because of that I rediscovered a couple of the Legend of Zelda games like the Minish Cap. My second semester freshman year I would be at dinner with all my friends not engaging in conversations because I was too busy on my Gameboy.
I got this shirt at New York Comic Con from the TeeTurtle booth 2 years ago. I loved it because it had Link and the triforce, while also having the album art for The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd (I have the vinyl). I found out about TeeTurtle through my friend/college roommate, Travis, who has the same exact design as this shirt, but on a hoodie; also purchased from TeeTurtle.
wanted to give the outfit a bit of an edge and not only wear it with jeans and sneakers. I paired it with my high waisted American Apparel shorts, which I snagged during their closing sale. I accessorized with a self tie choker, circle sunnies, and Triforce earrings. I finished the look with some fishnet stockings, which were on trend for the Winter/Spring season and I think will prevail during the summer and fall as well.
These photos were taken on a Brooklyn thrift shop adventure with my best friend Carol.
