When picking out an outfit, I usually base it off an article of clothing or an accessory that must be part of it. However, this time was different – I chose my lipstick color first and everything evolved from there. Check out my bold outfit to match my bold lips.
I have a decently sized lipstick collection with a range of different colors and shades. There are a couple bold lipsticks I have been wanting to wear, but I didn’t know what outfit would pair well with them. I bought Jeffree Star Cosmetic’s Velour Liquid Lip in ‘Dirty Money’ ($18) months ago on sale and one day I said, “I’m wearing this!” So, wear it I did.
I chose a sweater I had gotten from Zaful ($14). The green in the sweater somewhat matched the shade of green in the lipstick. Usually when I do a bold lip my outfit is pretty simple but I wanted an all-around bold look. What’s more bold than leather pants? I got these at Forever 21 on sale for $5, but they’re sold out now. The statement necklace I purchased during Black Friday 2016 at Lulus. To top off the look, I wore my favorite circle shades, which I got years ago at Urban Outfitters.
Makeup:
I used Jeffree Star Cosmetic’s Velour Liquid Lip in ‘Dirty Money’ ($18) on my lips. Jeffree Star Cosmetics has one of my favorite liquid lip formula ever.
Since I went with a bold lip and bold outfit I chose to do a simple winged eyeliner. I used Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in ‘Trooper’ ($20) for the wing.
For the highlight I used the Revolution Radiance Palette ($15), which was a gift from my friend Brianna on my birthday. It was her birthday when I wore this outfit, so check her out in the photos.
