Fashion: Casual Stripes

Weather in New York has gone from winter to spring to summer and back to spring. With these in-between weather days, I wear casual outfits because I can easily change my shoes to boots and layer if needed.

With global warming and mother nature changing it up on us, I have become dependent on my weather channel app. Last week the weather was pretty warm, but I was cold at some points in the day. I am the type of person who can wear TOMS and other slip on shoes until it is freezing. I have a permanent TOMS tan line on my feet. With this slip on shoe obsession I can wear them during this in-between kind of spring kind of winter weather. So, I wore my TODS penny loafers that my mom got me as a gift.

I wore my only pair of real denim pants, which I got on Vinted a year ago. They are thick and warm in case the weather that day turned colder. I paired it with my striped shirt (that I have had since high school). It’s my favorite shirt because it’s easy to wear with both casual and dressier type of outfits.

Makeup:

With a casual outfit I love to add pop of color on my lips. I chose Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Mat Lipstick in M401 ‘Hot Red’ ($22). For my eyes I used the LaSplash Eyeliner ($14).

I used the Revolution Radiance Palette as a highlight ($15).
