Happy Fourth of July! While we are still working on being the land of the free, we are making some progress and I am ready to celebrate that progress.
I usually go for 50s pinup when Fourth of July comes around, but this year I really wanted to wear my button front skirt, so it skewed more into the 70s.
The shirt was a gift from my mom and I have been waiting to wear it for the holiday. The button front skirt is from Brandy Melville and was featured in a past post.
Makeup:
As for makeup, on my eyebrows I used e.l.f Eyebrow Kit in ‘Medium’ ($4). On my eyes I used the ‘Highlight,’ ‘Base,’ and ‘Contour’ from the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette in ‘Sage’ ($26). On my lid I used Makeup Forever Star Powder in ‘Turquoise’ ($20). On my waterline I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in ‘Milk’ ($4.50). Eyeliner is from the Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeliner in ‘Pool Party’ ($12). Lipstick is LaSplash Cosmetics Smitten Liptint Mousse in ‘Inflamed’ ($14).
