Some of you may know that the Pantone colors of the year are Rose Quartz and Serenity, and I am crazy about this color combo. Especially for the spring.

For those who may not know, Pantone is a printing company best known for their color systems, which makes communicating colors easy and accurately across industries such as, graphic design, fashion, interior design, etc.
My outfit and a lot of new clothes I bought are highly influenced by the color of the year (I know its a little basic of me.) The color combo reminds me of the sunsets I see on my college campus and of cotton candy, something I love and used to eat all the time as a kid.
My shirt is a light pink, though it looks white in all of the photos, but believe me its light pink. I got the shirt from Forever 21 a couple weeks ago.
The jeans are from Garage, I love their jeans and I also worked there for a bit so I bought a lot of jeans. I chose a more periwinkle shade rather than the lighter denim I own because serenity is basically periwinkle.
The white tennis shoes, I got from American Apparel, top off the look. And to add a bit of edge to a pale outfit I chose my tattoo choker.
Makeup:
I wanted my makeup to pop because of the pale outfit I had put together, but with the same pink and blue combo. I’m telling you I’m obsessed, my boyfriend is on the verge of killing me because I point out the combo everywhere we go.
I used the Lime Crime Venus Palette 1 for this look ($32). On my lid I used ‘Shell,’ which is a light peachy pink with a satin finish. On my crease I used ‘Rebirth,’ which is a darker peachy coral color and I blended it out with ‘Foxy,’ which is slightly lighter than my skin tone, from the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 ($54). On my outer v I used ‘Muse’ from the Venus Palette, which is a burgundy red. I used ‘Aura’ for my highlight under the brow bone and on the inner corner. I used ‘Aura’ and ‘Rebirth’ on my lower lash line.
As for eyeliner I used Colour Pop Creme Gel Colour in ‘Prance,’ which its this periwinkle blue color. ($6) I’m obsessed with this liner and use it more often than I thought I would, I used this on my last blog post too. I love Colour Pop’s products so much!
My lipstick is The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes in ‘Committed,’ which I received in my December 2015 ipsy bag (referral link here). ($17)
