After months of being M.I.A., my New Years resolution is to post more on here and on my YouTube channel. So be prepared for more posts! This outfit started with just the pants.
I had been looking for boyfriend jeans without rips in them forever. Then, one day I was browsing through Urban Outfitters sale section and came across these pair of boyfriend jeans discounted at $10 and I freaked out. They weren’t my size but I tailored them to fit. You just can’t pass up $10 jeans.
The rest of the outfit just came together. I wanted a grungy look, and what’s more grunge than Nirvana? The Kurt Cobain muscle tee wasn’t originally a muscle tee. I got it from Urban Outfitters’ sale section like 5 years ago as a t-shirt and cut the sides to make it a muscle tee.
If you’ve read or looked at my previous outfits you know I wear these shoes all the time. I had gotten them last year, I was walking around SoHo and passed by the Steve Madden store, which had a huge sale sign. I naturally went in and came across these shoes and they have been my go to pair since. I don’t like having many shoes, just go to pairs.
MAKEUP:
I’m adding a new makeup section on my posts because a great outfit isn’t complete without the makeup to match.
I decided to go somewhat simple since I was wearing sunglasses for most of the day.
On my eyes I decided a small wing would do, I used Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in ‘Trooper’. I’m usually not a fan of felt tip liners, because I feel they aren’t as opaque as gel liners or liquid liners that use a brush. After a while the tips aren’t as precise and dry out quickly. But Kat Von D’s Tattoo liner is the exception to all of this. The tip is super precise, it comes out super black, and stays on all day. As for my lashes I used Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lashes, my friend Brianna wouldn’t stop talking about this mascara, so I had to try it. It was worth the hype its leaves your lashes super curled.
Lastly for my lips I used Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in ‘Lolita’. Lolita is a dusty pink nude and stays on for most of the day, I only had to reapply once because I was eating.
